Dinosaur Isle is Britain's first purpose built dinosaur museum and visitor attraction. The building displays many fossils and life size reconstructions of the Island's dinosaurs. Although a new building, the large collection of dinosaur and other fossils from the Island has its origins in 1819. Dinosaur Isle is part of the Isle of Wight Council's Museum Service. The Isle of Wight is the most important sire for dinosaur remains in Europe.
